After reviewing the process and creating an assessment, RHG’s services included the following:
- develop a financial and budgeting plan coordinated
with and based on a starting retail price point and product-configuration sales, marketing and channel strategy;
- select, negotiate, and engage an advertising and
marketing firm to assist in the branding, development of marketing collateral, product packaging, in-store floor and counter-displays design;
- conduct focus groups, product naming and
positioning, website development, public relations, trade show strategy and collateral, and sample product fulfillment;
- develop product configuration products list, and
correct Universal Product Code (UPC) application;
- develop channel management and pricing strategy for
selling directly to a retailer or through distribution and account for returns, mark-downs, and obsolescence;
- provide interim sales management services;
- develop a manufacturers representative network
including messaging and agreements;
- coordinate the implementation of necessary in-house
systems to support business processes including: order entry, customer service, electronic data interchange (E.D.I.), logistics, and freight management.
